James R. Crenwelge | DVM, Owner
James Crenwelge was born and raised in Doss, Tx. He knows all about rural Texas living, having attended a four-room school house until the 8th grade. Dr. James attended Tarleton State University where he received a Bachelors in Animal Science in 2005, followed by a Masters in Animal Science with an emphasis in Ruminant Nutrition in 2007. Upon completion, he attended TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine until graduation in 2012. He moved to Bellville, Texas in May 2012 with his family where he was employed by Lamp Veterinary Clinic. In November 2016, Dr. Crenwelge started Star Hill Veterinary Clinic in Bellville. Dr. Crenwelge is married to his wife Amanda, who is an active member and advisor to Star Hill Veterinary Clinic. Their daughter Ella is 4 years old and they are expecting Baby Charlotte in November 2017. Dr. Crenwelge and Amanda enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and working with 4-H and FFA members, since it was a pivotal part of their youth. The Crenwelge’s have a small farm including pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and they also enjoy raising show goats for 4-H and FFA projects.

Stefani Ramirez | DVM
Dr. Stefani is a native of Katy, TX. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University in 2015 and then went on to earn her DVM at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She grew up riding horses and competed in hunter/jumper events in local area shows. In high school, she was an active FFA member and enjoyed the time she spent traveling all around the great state of Texas for horse judging competitions. She grew up with several family pets including dogs, cats, and rabbits. She still owns her childhood horse, a Thoroughbred named Bentley. Now that she is finished with school, she hopes to adopt a dog (or maybe two) sometime soon. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, riding her horse, and going to concerts and sporting events.
Lisa Neuendorff | Veterinary Technician, Receptionist
Lisa, otherwise known as Grandma, has worked as a vet tech for 17 years. She and her husband of 32 years live in a small town called Bernardo. Lisa raised one daughter and has three beautiful grandchildren she dotes on. When Lisa is not busy helping clients and animals at our practice, she fishes, works in her yard, and spends lots of time with her family.
Randy Jones | Veterinary Technician
Randy was born and raised in Katy, Tx. He graduated from Vet Tech Institute of Houston this year and should obtain his license in the coming months. Randy enjoys spending time with his family, wife Allie and daughter Maya. They have a Red Heeler named Lupa to complete the family.
Amber Ashley | Veterinary Technician
Amber grew up in the small town of Jewett, Texas. She worked on her grandparents ranch close by and always knew she wanted to do something in her life that involved animals. Amber graduated from Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2013. She lives in Hempstead with her husband and two boys. They are active 4-H members and in little league. Amber enjoys spending time with her family fishing, hunting and anything outdoors.
Suzy Wetzel | Veterinary Technician
Suzy has been a great addition to our team. Along with her wit and humor, Suzy is a hard worker and enjoys working with all animals. Suzy graduated from O’Conner High School. Family means everything to Suzy and she has a dog named Koda. In her free time, Suzy enjoys hunting, fishing, going to the beach, horseback riding, and anything else outdoors. Suzy’s aspirations are doing great things at her job, excelling at life and being successful.
Megan Walla | Receptionist
Emergency CareWe offer 24-hour emergency veterinary care and we’re mobile for our large animal patients. Please contact us if you think your pet is experiencing a medical emergency. We’re available if your pet has ingested a poisonous substance, is unresponsive, or shows other signs of an emergency.
Large ANIMAL SERVICESWhether you’re tending to herds of cattle, shearing sheep, or raising pigs, we offer full service veterinary care. Our mobile services for food animals include herd health consultations, vaccinations, and reproductive care.
