James R. Crenwelge

DVM, Owner

James Crenwelge was born and raised in Doss, Tx. He knows all about rural Texas living, having attended a four-room school house until the 8th grade. Dr. James attended Tarleton State University where he received a Bachelors in Animal Science in 2005, followed by a Masters in Animal Science with an emphasis in Ruminant Nutrition in 2007. Upon completion, he attended TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine until graduation in 2012. He moved to Bellville, Texas in May 2012 with his family where he was employed by Lamp Veterinary Clinic. In November 2016, Dr. Crenwelge started Star Hill Veterinary Clinic in Bellville. Dr. Crenwelge is married to his wife Amanda, who is an active member and advisor to Star Hill Veterinary Clinic. Their daughter Ella is 4 years old and they are expecting Baby Charlotte in November 2017. Dr. Crenwelge and Amanda enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and working with 4-H and FFA members, since it was a pivotal part of their youth. The Crenwelge’s have a small farm including pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and they also enjoy raising show goats for 4-H and FFA projects.

Stacey Kaminski


Dr. Stacey attended Texas A&M University where she studied Biomedical Science before beginning vet school at the TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She began working for Lamp Veterinary Clinic shortly after graduation in 2016 and continues to work as an associate veterinarian for the new owners at Star Hill Veterinary Clinic. She is originally from the Bellville area and currently resides near Cat Spring with her husband Colton, along with their two dogs, two cats, and two horses.

Lisa Neuendorff

Veterinary Technician, Receptionist

Lisa, otherwise known as grandma, has worked as a vet tech for 17 years. She and her husband of 32 years live in a small town called Bernardo. Lisa raised one daughter and has three beautiful grandchildren she dotes on. When Lisa is not busy helping clients and animals at our practice, she fishes, works in her yard, and spends lots of time with her family.

Brooke Wheeler

Veterinary Technician

Brooke has been with the clinic since May of 2016. She enjoys working with all types of animals, big and small. When she’s not working, spending time with family is Brooke’s favorite pastime. With a husband, one baby girl, two dogs, two cats, and three horses, she stays busy in and out of our practice.

Adam Brening

Veterinary Technician

Adam has worked as a vet tech for two years, and his favorite part about our practice is working with cattle, though he enjoys all animals. When Adam is not at work, you might catch him watching sports, listening to music, or spending time outdoors.

Kayble Luedke

Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in New Ulm, TX, Kayble raises her own cattle and chickens there to this day. She loves helping animals and people, so working at our practice is a natural fit, along with being a volunteer firefighter at the New Ulm Volunteer Fire Department. Kayble also serves as the 2nd Vice President for the Austin County Firefighters Association, and she plans on taking EMT courses, so she can be a truly well-rounded first responder. Though she has always lived in Texas, Kayble hopes to travel the world. She also loves cats, especially her cat Rue.


Erin Sodolak


Erin has worked as a client relations specialist since 2011. She worked at another veterinary hospital for 11 years before joining our team. Erin enjoys helping clients and greets them with a smile. She lives with her husband, Nathan and two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. Her family also includes a red heeler, Reba and recently adopted kitten Pearl. In her free time, she enjoys health/fitness and spending time with her family and friends.

Sherry Mosley


Sherry is originally from South Georgia and moved to Texas in 2012. She Joined SHVC in August 2017, and as an avid animal lover, our patients make her day. Sherry lives in Bellville with her husband, along with their cat Tinker and six very spoiled hens. When she’s not greeting our clients and patients, Sherry enjoys reading, baking/cooking, playing the piano, and organic gardening with her husband Scott.
