Doggy Daycare and Extended-Stay Pet Boarding Services
It’s not always easy to leave your loyal companion alone and unattended. Even cats, who often seem independent, can experience separation anxiety if left alone too long. We make leaving your loved one a little easier for Bellville and surrounding areas by offering both doggy daycare and pet boarding. Our boarding services are designed for both cats and dogs when you have to leave them longer than a day, and our daycare is a great option for your dog while you work all day. Regardless of how long your pet stays with us, they’ll be well taken care of and given plenty of attention by experienced professionals. To keep the pets who stay with us as healthy as possible, we ask that your pet is free from certain diseases and is up-to-date on specific vaccinations.
Let Them Play while You Play Away (or Work)
Are you thinking about going on vacation, but you don’t know how to leave your pet? If you’re raising a younger dog, under two years old, even a few hours at home alone can be too much for them to handle. Your young pup may end up acting out in disruptive ways, or have excessive amounts of energy when you arrive home from a long day. Let us take one less hassle off your plate with our pet boarding services or doggy daycare. We offer several walks and runs throughout the day for pets, and we always work to accommodate the individual needs of our clients. If your pooch is acquainted with and likes to play with another dog guest, we allow them to keep each other company throughout the day – with your permission of course.
Before Your Pet Stays with Us
It’s very important to keep the pets who stay with us healthy, and disease free. Firstly, we isolate potentially contagious pets who come into our practice for illness visits, so you can rest assured your boarded pet will not be exposed to any viruses. Secondly, we ask that any boarded pets be up-to-date on vaccinations, including ones that could spread easily in a boarding environment. Our requirements before you check your pet into Hotel Star Hill:
- Dogs should be current on rabies, their distemper combo vaccine including leptospirosis, and bordetella (kennel cough).
- Cats should be current on rabies, their distemper combo vaccine, and leukemia.
- Cats must also test negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
While we happily take patients and nonpatients alike, if you’re new to our boarding services we encourage you to schedule your pet with a wellness visit, so we can fully examine their health.
“They are always very loving and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.”
